The effects contrasted by the intervention of the foreign pharmaceutical laboratories in the algerian sector of the pharmaceutical industry

This article concerns the issues related to the intervention of foreign laboratories in the Algerian pharmaceutical sector. This debate deals with the strategic imeportance given by the local authorities to this intervention regarding the new policy which aims to strengthen and built up a local pharmaceutical industry. Announced as a development opportunity for national capacity development, these laboratories led to controversial results. Based on a theoretical corpus related to international rules and inter-company agreements, the aim of this research was to identify the modes of action of these laboratories and their impacts on the Algerian pharmaceutical industry in general and the SAIDAL industrial group in particular.
