ICT and company performance: impact study on algerian firms
It is acknowledged that I.C.Technologies are an evolution leverage of firm’s performance. However, their impact on performance assessment remains questionable. This paper proposes to deal with this question through intermediary effects - telecom, software’s, and training have on improving product quality, processes, and the rise of flexibility on one hand, and the role of users as a determining potential of ICT’s success on the other hand. This issue is examined through a case study of some Algerian’s enterprises. Results enable us to affirm that ICT are just tools which can exercise positive orAnegative effects on the firm’s performance. What matters is the organization’s strategy and the aims expected of their use.
